The IPL Education Center® has been formed to disseminate information about treatments with Intense Pulsed Light. Many applications with Intense Pulsed Light have been found and more will likely follow. It is our hope to be on the forefront of this technology in the removal of hair, veins, pigmentation and other conditions yet to be defined. Goals Knowledgeable Technologist = Excellent Results = Successful Practice The goal of the IPL Educational Center® is to give professionals a better understanding of the effects of IPL on skin pigment, hair, and vascular structures. Our mission is to be on the forefront of IPL technology in the rtreatment of different skin conditions. We are committed to sharing our findings and knowledge, thus improving the skills of physicians that will allow them to get better results and increase patient satisfaction. Membership Membership is only open to physicians and other health providers.
In addition, members of the IPL Educational Center® will receive e-mail advice and a newsletter. Click here to become a member. Seminars The IPL Education Center® presents several one-day seminars on Epifacial® or non-invasive skin rejuvenation. Other seminars on Advanced Hair Removal and the Management of the Skin Type VI are also availbale. Fundamentals of light skin interaction as well as treatment parameters for each condition will be explained. The equipment used will be Epilight™, Multilight™ and Vasculight™ systems including use of Quantum HR™ and Quantum SR™. Upon completion of the seminar, participants will be qualified to treat a variety of facial conditions, and all will be able to purchase the Epifacial® trademark. The instructions will be carried by the developers of this technology, Franklin Johnson, M.D. and Maria DoVale, C.M.A. Carla Silva, M.A. will also participate. Perceptorships Preceptorships are on a one-to-one basis and may last from one to three days. The emphasis is at the discretion of the participant. The emphasis may be hair removal or vein treatments which include sclerotherapy, Intense Pulse Light, 1064 Yd- Laser and even surgery.
